Our products are made from simple and pure unrefined natural products, very few products that enhance one another instead of using little bits of a whole  host of ingredients that end up either counteracting one another with no benefit to the customer. 

Medical conditions:

Where noted, some of our lines contain lemon essential oil. If you have any known skin sensitivities, consult a doctor before using any of our products that contains lemon oil. This oil is phototoxic and should therefore not be used before going in the sun or on a sunbed (for at least 12 hours after use).

Latex allergy:

While shea butter is generally well-tolerated, even by those with tree nut allergies, it’s important to note that raw shea butter may contain natural latex, which could trigger allergic reactions in individuals with latex sensitivities.

Test for reaction

If unsure, individuals can patch test a small amount of shea butter product on their skin to check for any allergic reactions. If you have a latex allergy and suspect a reaction to shea butter, it’s best to discontinue use immediately, avoid further contact, and seek medical attention if symptoms are severe. Always consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.
